Gretchen was born in the
Philippines and has grown up in the Chicago
area since she was 2 years old.
Her
interest in Art was sparked by her older
brother's illustrations. All throughout
grade school and high school, she took as
many art classes as possible.
She was
awarded a full scholarship to attend
Northern Illinois University, where she
received a Bachelors degree with a major in Psychology and a
minor in Art. After college, she fused
her
two interests and practiced Art Therapy
in Evanston, IL.
She currently works as a
freelance artist, concentrating on
charcoal portraits and graphic design.
